Word of the Day: Affect

The word affect, often confused with effect, is a verb meaning to have an effect on or to make a difference to.

When something moves you like a song or poem or movie, you would normally say it affected you. Some people are very in tune with their emotions and are affected by many things...romantic movies, sad songs, tragedies etc.
