Since we looked at the word affect yesterday, it's only natural that today's word would be effect.

Effect is a noun meaning a change which is the result or consequence of an action or other cause.

People talk about the effect of power plants and fumes from vehicles or factories on the climate. Climate change is a real thing and more and more evidence of it is coming to light daily.
