Word of the Day: Introvert

Today's word of the day is Introvert. It's a noun and it means a shy, reticent person. It can also be used as an adjective as another term for introverted.
Have you ever noticed that introverted people find it hard to make direct eye contact?
It's true! Introverts tend to be very shy... They will look at you, but only when you aren't looking back at them. If you are, then they will look up to the sky or down at their shoes or all around them, because it's hard for them to look others in the eye.
It can get even more awkward when TWO introverts are conversing! Simply because they are looking everywhere but at each other.
On the flip side, there are some introverts who CAN make eye contact and are not necessarily shy. These persons tend to prefer their own company and like being alone.
