Happy June! To start the month off, our word of the day today is rogue. The word rogue is a noun. There are actually three definitions for the word rogue. (The last one is quite interesting!)
The first definition is that a rogue is a dishonest or immoral man. It can also be a mischievous but likeable person. The third definition is that a rogue is an elephant who lives apart from the herd. Talk about personal space!

The word rogue is suspected to have roots in the Latin word, “rogare”. Rogare means to beg or ask.
